LAVENDER CATERING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Your deposit acts as a formal agreement between (you) the client and Lavender Catering.
- Your deposit secures our services. In the event of non-payment of said deposit, Lavender Catering will assume that the (you) the client no longer require the date and will make it available to others. If your event is less than 12 months away, your payment schedule will be adjusted to incorporate any proportion of payment that would have already been due.
- Payment plans:
- 12 months prior to Event 25% payment on receipt of anticipated revenue
- 6 months prior to Event 25% payment on receipt of anticipated revenue
- 3 months prior to Event A further 25% payment of anticipated revenue
- 1 month prior to Event Balance due of anticipated revenue
- Any cancellation or postponement must be confirmed in writing by registered post and E mail. Postponements of confirmed bookings will be considered as a cancellation. The cancellation fees will be based on the schedule below. We therefore recommend purchasing insurance against any unforeseen circumstances.
The terms are:
- more than 365 days, Lavender Catering will retain the £500 non-refundable deposit;
- more than 180 days but less than 365 days prior to event, 25% of the anticipated revenue;
- less than 180 days before the event, 50% of the anticipated revenue;
- less than 90 days before the event, 75% of the anticipated revenue;
- less than 28 days before the event, 100% of the anticipated revenue.
- All anticipated revenues are based on pre-booked services reserved by the client and includes, but is not
limited to, meals and drinks. If any payments are not settled by the due date or by an agreed alternative date be it made on the day of the event, or prior to it, interest will be charged at 5% per day.
- Any amendments to guest numbers and/or arrangements are to be notified to Lavender Catering not less than one month prior to the event. If the numbers are increased, then a higher amount will be charged. There will be no refund or transfer of funds if numbers decrease.
- Lavender Catering reserves the right to amend the prices quoted at their discretion due to unforeseen market
conditions. If so, the client will be informed. All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate.
- If Lavender Catering is prevented or hindered from carrying out its obligations hereunder by circumstances
beyond its reasonable control including (without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing) government
intervention, strikes, labour disputes, accidents, Acts of God, pandemics or epidemics, national or local
disasters or war, then Lavender Catering’s liability to the client shall be no greater than the amount paid by
the client in respect of the function.
- No food or beverages of any kind are permitted to be brought by the client or their guests without written
consent of Lavender Catering, and such consent may involve an additional charge.
- During events, Lavender Catering accepts no liability for damage or loss to any goods eg gifts, presents that are brought in. Lavender Catering cannot accept any responsibility for the safe keeping of such items and will
not be held responsible for any loss or damage to any articles brought to the event.
- The client shall be responsible for any damage caused to Lavender Catering’s crockery, glassware, utensils and equipment therein by the wilful act of default of the client, or guests and shall pay Lavender Catering on
demand the amount required to make good or remedy any such damage.
- Lavender Catering reserves the right to use any photographs, videos etc in its own promotional publicity
without prior permission.
- The client agrees to be bound by all reasonable instructions of authorised representatives of Lavender Catering in relation to the conduct of the event and shall further ensure that any guest attending will similarly follow instructions.
- In the event of any changes to the above terms and conditions, you will be notified in advance.
I have read and agree to the booking conditions as set out above.
- In the unlikely occurrence of there being an issue, fault or problem with our service or food on the day of your event please make sure you let the Team manager or delivery driver know immediately so we can try our very best to rectify the matter. We would kindly ask that do not leave it after your event to contact us for any discrepancy as we would rather try and resolve any issue on the day so that you are satisfied and we reach your expectation.
- All payments must be paid by the payee of this invoice and not a third party (unless prior arrangement has been made)
17.Please kindly note that due to the vulnerable markets some of our food suppliers and hire items may not be available and in every circumstance we will try and replace with a similar item.
- COVID RESTRICTIONS - Should your event have to be cancelled due to covid restrictions we will be happy to move your catering services within one year of the date of your event at no extra cost.
- Our Terms and Conditions will always be attached to your invoice and need to be read. Payment received confirms you have read our terms and conditions and agree to them.
Once payment of this invoice has been met we will assume you have read and understood our terms and conditions.
